What Is The LEWIS & CLARK OZARK
Adventure Race?
This race will be a challenging adventure race
course in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas that will consist
of orienteering, mountain biking, trekking, canoeing, rope elements,
and mystery events. Solo, two-person and three-person divisons will
navigate using a map and compass to Checkpoints (CP) along the entire
course.
What Is The Course Like?
Approximately 50 to 70 miles. Competitors should
be prepared for single-track mountain biking trails, flowing water,
hilly terrain, rope elements and team building events. The course
will cover wooded and rugged terrain in Northwest Arkansas.
WHat happened to the urban adventure race?
It has a new home and an updated format. The
Urban Adventure Race will be a 2 to 4 hour course that is geared
to people looking for a challenge, but that will not take them outside
the city limits. A great first-time urban adventure race course
for a team or a really hard workout for the experienced individual.
